Director Subhash Kapoor’s Jolly LLB 2 is having a good run at the box office. The Akshay Kumar-starrer is in its second week and is on its way to the magical Rs100-crore mark.

But the film had to face its share of problems. Just before the release, the Bombay high court ordered to delete four scenes as the bench found them defamatory to the legal system.

Akshay Kumar 'respects' HC verdict on Jolly LLB 2, makers accept 4 cuts

The makers have now shared a deleted scene from the movie. The scene was removed from the final print by the makers themselves and not through the orders of the court. It shows Saurabh Shukla, who plays the judge, having lunch inside the court on the judge’s desk. The rest of the staff, too, is busy eating. Kumar enters the court and feels that the lunch hour is on. But Shukla informs him that the court is working on ‘no break’ currently.

He goes on to explain the sorry situation of judges. But what takes the cake is the line, “Hum judgeon ki haalat na, labour class se bhi battar hai (The situation of judges is worse than the labour class).” Later, when Annu Kapoor enters the court, Shukla, while conversing, states: “Everybody eats in court.” He indirectly hints that everyone takes bribes here.

Considering how strict the high court was towards the film, we wonder if this scene would have been passed if it was included in the main print.
