He might share some fabulous chemistry with Alia Bhatt, but Varun Dhawan certainly does not share her vocal abilities. The co-stars of Badrinath Ki Dulhania were busy promoting their latest song, 'Humsafar', on social media and turned singers themselves in the process.
Bhatt first put out a video to Dhawan challenging him to a singing contest. Considering the actress herself is quite the singer, having sung 'Ikk kudi' for Udta Punjab (2015) and 'Samjhawan' in 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya (2013), it was quite a cakewalk for her to sing a couple of lines from her latest film.
Sun mere #Humsafar!!!! Okay now it's your turn @Varun_dvn to sing haha next two lines over to you ðÂÂÂÂÂÂðÂÂÂÂÂÂðÂÂÂÂÂÂð pic.twitter.com/wejCG74Vhm

Never one to stand down from a challenge, Dhawan took up the mic and delivered his own version. Though he was slightly off key, it was a decent effort.
@aliaa08 here you go KI tera sassan chalti jidhar #humsafar now you go pic.twitter.com/0EFLRRUWoT

Nevertheless, the cycle was completed gamely by Bhatt who took up the rest of the verse.
Haha that was fab @Varun_dvn!!!! Full feel â¤ï¸Â back to you :) #Humsafar pic.twitter.com/FHNG2uvVvt
