Actor Narendra Jha, who played pivotal roles in Shah Rukh Khan's Raees (2017) and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil (2017), says he feels blessed that both films received positive response despite clashing at the box office on the eve of Republic Day last month.
Raees and Kaabil were both released on 25 January amid much heartburn and last-minute attempts to avert the clash. Raees has so far collected over Rs128 crore at the box office while Kaabil has collected Rs85 crore, according to figures released by BoxOfficeIndia.com
While Raees featured Jha as Musabhai, the actor played police officer Chaubey in Kaabil. "I am blessed that 2017 is doing good for me," he said in a statement. "By god's grace, both my films Raees and Kaabil did well at the box office. People discuss my work as well and are giving me credit, too. It's always a great feeling when your hard work is appreciated."
Talking about working with Hrithik Roshan in Kaabil, Jha said: "We did tremendous hard work for this film and that seriousness can be seen in Hrithik. He supported me a lot and is very down to earth. He is a great human before being a star."
