Why did Varun Dhawan make Alia Bhatt cry on Koffee With Karan?

Yesterday’s Koffee With Karan episode with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt promised a lot of inside stories and gossip. That is exactly what the audience got to hear in the show hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar.

There was a big surprise in store that wasn’t pleasant for Bhatt, but Johar and Dhawan could barely contain their laughter.

Did Varun just reveal that Tiger-Disha and Alia-Sidharth are dating?

During the conversation, Dhawan revealed how Bhatt was a crybaby who cried over little things. The host agreed with Dhawan. The actress, however, denied the claims. To prove the point, Johar showed a behind-the-scenes video from his own production, Badrinath Ki Dulhania. 

The video shows Bhatt crying profusely over something. When Dhawan repeatedly asked her the reason for it, she said, “Because I am hungry.” To this, the actor asked if there was no food around. Bhatt replies saying, "They have cheese balls on the menu. I can’t trust this menu." This gave the host a laughter attack.

Later, Bhatt revealed that the incident took place in Kota where she had regularly eaten fatty foods. As she was keen on dieting, she wasn’t happy to see cheese balls on the menu.
