The show must go on. These words are not only synonymous with veteran filmmaker Raj Kapoor, but are also the motto for most artistes in the film industry. A day after attending the funeral of his grand uncle Shashi Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor headed to Cape Town in South Africa to resume the shoot for the Sanjay Dutt biopic.

A picture of Ranbir hitting the gym in South Africa surfaced online. The photo is said to be uploaded by Ranbir's personal trainer, Kunal Gir. While the picture was not to be found on Gir's social media accounts, Ranbir's manager Shanti Malik confirmed that the actor had left for South Africa.

"Ranbir left for South Africa a day after the funeral of Shashi Kapoor ji. He left the next evening. He is shooting there for the Sanjay Dutt biopic," Malik told Cinestaan.com.

I’d like Ranbir Kapoor to quit smoking, says his trainer Kunal Gir

Dressed in blue long sleeved T-shirt, Ranbir is seen lifting heavy weights.

Nearly 24 hours ago, the Kapoor family was mourning the death of Shashi. As Raj said in Mera Naam Joker (1970), Ranbir showed his commitment to the film by resuming work in South Africa.

The untitled Sanjay Dutt biopic is schedued to be released on 30 March 2018.
