Kaalakaandi motion poster: Saif Ali Khan is the 'aankh ka tara’

The teaser that was launched earlier in July this year generated a fair amount of curiosity among fans. But thereafter Akshat Verma's directorial debut Kaalakaandi, starring Saif Ali Khan at the head of an ensemble cast, faced some hurdles with the Central Board of Film Certification.

Now the wheels have been set in motion again with the unveiling of the film's motion poster. The teaser had Khan emerging as Swagpur Ka Choudhari. The motion poster hails his character as aankh ka tara [cynosure of all eyes].

The 15-second motion poster has a silhouette of Khan’s character, who sports ponytails and a yellow shrug. Based on the teaser and the motion poster, Khan certainly seems to have brought out the adrenalin junkie in him.

The trailer will be launched tomorrow and Khan’s fans will surely be gearing up to get more than a glimpse of this Kaalakaandi. What the film is all about, we hope to get some idea after the trailer is launched.

Kaalakaandi is described as a thrilling dark comedy written and directed by Akshat Verma and produced by the Cinestaan Film Company (a sister company of Cinestaan Digital Private Limited, which runs this website) and Flying Unicorn Entertainment. Apart from Khan, the film stars Vijay Raaz, Deepak Dobriyal, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Isha Talwar and Akshay Oberoi.
