My life and career wouldn’t be the same without you: Anil Kapoor to Anupam Kher

Actor Anil Kapoor credits his life and career to veteran actor Anupam Kher for his constant support.

Kher on Tuesday, 19 December, congratulated Kapoor for winning the Best Supporting Actor (Male) award for his performance in Mubarakan (2017) at the Zee Cine Awards 2018.

'Dear Anil Kapoor! Your every year has been great and it will continue to be like that. You add brilliance to your years by sheer hard work and passion which is rare. Congratulations on your award. Warm hug my friend. Jai Ho,' Kher tweeted.

To which, Kapoor replied, 'You always know the right thing to say Anupam Kher! My life and career wouldn't be the same without your friendship and constant support! Thank you for always believing in me my friend!'

The two have worked in films like Parinda (1989), Ram Lakhan (1989), 1942: A Love Story (1994), Laadla (1994), Deewana Mastana (1997), Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain (1999), and Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai (2000).

Currently, Kapoor is busy with Fanney Khan opposite actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao.
