Karan Johar’s Bombay Talkies 2 tale starring Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani goes on the floors

In 2013, four filmmakers — Karan Johar, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar and Anurag Kashyap — came together for the anthology Bombay Talkies. Now, producer Ashi Dua is back with the sequel, and the the makers have commenced shooting of the story that is being directed by Karan Johar.
The short film stars Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani and Neha Dhupia and shooting for it began today. Karan Johar tweeted about it.

The producer Dua told Cinestaan.com: "It is the same concept with four directors telling one story each. We have a different theme, Love and Lust, now. Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Anurag Kashyap have finished shooting their stories. Karan Johar starts shooting his story today.”
The producer added that he has not thought about the release date yet and is waiting for the shooting to be completed first.
Zoya Akhtar’s segment is said to feature Bhumi Pednekar, Neil Bhoopalam and Rasika Dugal while Banerjee’s has Manisha Koirala and Sanjay Kapoor. Radhika Apte has shot for the Kashyap short.
Bombay Talkies was created to celebrate 100 years of Indian cinema.
