Comedian Kapil Sharma returned to the limelight with Firangi after going through a personal and professional crisis. Unfortunately, his comeback project has not brought him great cheer as yet. The film had a poor opening-day collection of around Rs1.75 crore nett, as reported by BoxOfficeIndia.com.

Meanwhile, the Sunny Leone-starrer Tera Intezaar could only manage a poor Rs45 lakh on its opening day.
Vidya Balan’s Tumhari Sulu, which had been released on 17 November, meandered to Rs27.03 crore nett after two weeks. The film, directed by first-timer Suresh Triveni, was made at an estimated budget of Rs20 crore and was released on 1,000 screens across India.
