As far as Hollywood A-listers go, there are few as big as Will Smith. The actor, who was in Mumbai to promote his upcoming film, Bright, though seems to be a fan of Akshay Kumar and his cooking.

In an interview to Vogue magazine, Smith said, "Yeah, this is my third time to Mumbai and my fourth time in India. I should just move in with Akshay [Kumar]. I was just talking about that. We had a dinner at his place last time I was here, and it was literally the best food I’ve ever had."

Kumar is known to be a good cook, and even spent his early years in Bangkok working as a waiter and a chef. It certainly seems like his cooking has made an impact on Smith. The Independence Day (1996) actor had visited Akshay Kumar in August 2016, and had dinner with the family.

However, due to the short duration of his visit, Smith regretted that he wasn't able to do it this time. He said, "One thing I love about India is the food at Akshay’s, that’s the absolute best."

Smith arrived in Mumbai on Saturday, 16 December, to promote his upcoming Netflix film, Bright, which will be released on 22 December. The film stars Joel Edgerton and Noomi Rapace alongside Smith in a dystopian tale that sees humans, orcs and elves partner to take on crime. Bright is directed by David Ayer.

Apart from Akshay Kumar's cuisine, the actor also revealed that he was reading the Bhagvad-Gita, and finding a connect with its hero, Arjuna. He added that he would like to visit Rishikesh sometime.

Smith also interacted with fans at the Phoenix Mills mall in Lower Parel, Mumbai, alongside Noomi Rapace, Joel Edgerton and director David Ayer. Smith even threw in a surprise for fans by beatboxing impromptu with host, Rannvijay Singha.

The event also saw composers Vishal-Shekhar perform to their hit tracks 'Ude Dil Befikre' and the latest, 'Swag Se Swagat'.
