Tiger Zinda Hai song: ‘Zinda Hai’ is an ode to the valiant Tiger

Put simply, this is an energetic song by composers Vishal and Shekhar that provides an adrenaline rush.

The song ‘Zinda Hai’ from Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai is the theme track of the film. It is based on the background score of Ek Tha Tiger (2012), the first film in the franchise.

To put it simply, this is an energetic song by composers Vishal and Shekhar that provides an adrenaline rush. The theme music is fast paced and accompanied by the sound of ammunition going off.

But the song is not all about music. One would not expect impressive lyrics in such an action-orientated track. But Irshad Kamil has put in decent poetry that defines the spy Tiger’s character.

Sukhwinder Singh’s vocals provide the icing on the cake. He brings in the right amount of energy needed for the number. Raftaar’s rap complements him well.

The video is filled with visuals of various well-compiled action sequences. The scenes following the villain’s dialogue, “Prepare for the war”, add to the excitement. This audio-visual offering certainly increases the eagerness of fans for Salman Khan's film.

The first film, Ek Tha Tiger, was helmed by Kabir Khan. He recently revealed on Koffee With Karan that he wasn’t happy with the film despite it having proved a blockbuster. That is probably the reason why he isn’t directing the sequel.

Tiger Zinda Hai is set to be released on 22 December. Watch the song:
