Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety poster: Are Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha up to some mischief?

Director Luv Ranjan, of Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011) and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015) fame, is back with another light-hearted entertainer. The film is called Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which is an unusual, tongue-twisting title.

It stars Luv Ranjan’s favourite pair Kartik Aaryan and Nushrat Bharucha. Before this, all his three films — Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Akaash Vani (2013) — had them playing the main leads. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety also stars Sunny Singh Nijjar who has also worked with Luv Ranjan in his last two films.

The first poster of the film is quite funny and interesting. It has Nijjar and Bharucha dressed as newlyweds, along with Aaryan. But there is a twist. As per commercial Hindi cinema rules, the guy has to drink a glass of milk on his wedding night. But here, the groom is given half a glass of milk each by Bharucha and Aaryan.

This creates a lot of curiosity about the situation and the film’s storyline. Having seen Luv Ranjan’s humour in his PKP series, there are expectations of a deeper meaning from the aforementioned situation.

Produced under the banners of T-Series and Luv Films, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety will be release on 9 February 2018.
