Virat and Anushka’s reception invitation has social message: See picture

Cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma, who tied the knot in Italy on 11 December, have an environment-friendly message to go with their reception invitation.

The invitation comes with a sapling. It seems the couple wants to encourage their guests to plant more trees. The reception will be held in Delhi on 21 December and in Mumbai on 26 December.

A glimpse of the invitation was shared on Twitter by veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. “They made it! Our heartiest congratulations to Anushka & Virat. We pray that this love story goes on forever and ever. Amen!” he captioned it.

This is not the first time Kohli and Sharma have highlighted the importance of tree plantation. Earlier this year, the duo took part in a tree plantation initiative in Sri Lanka.

The couple has been trending on social media even four days after their wedding in a Tuscany heritage hotel in Italy.
