Sui Dhaaga first look: Varun Dhawan gets going in his new role as a tailor

A stitch in time save nine. Varun Dhawan has wasted no time in prepping for his next, Sui Dhaaga, while his co-actor Anushka Sharma tied the knot in Italy. Dhawan will be playing a tailor in the film. The Judwaa 2 (2017) actor  tweeted an image from his workshop.

Directed by Sharat Katariya, Sui Dhaaga will be released on 2 October next year. The film is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Make in India initiative. Sui Dhaaga is produced by Yash Raj Films.

Lead actress Sharma is currently in Italy having tied the knot with Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. Sharma will resume work first shooting for Aanand L Rai's untitled project and simultaneously begin her preparation for Sui Dhaaga too.
