Hindi cinema legend Dilip Kumar, who turned 95 yesterday, cut a cake in the presence of family members, including wife Saira Banu, and some close friends.
"So it was a small gathering. Saheb cut the cake few minutes ago. I guess all the flash irritated him big time. May Allah bless Dilip Saheb with a long and healthy life," family friend Faisal Farooqui wrote on his Twitter handle.
The actor, who had just undergone treatment for mild pneumonia, looked pale in the pictures posted on Twitter. Saira Banu had earlier said the birthday celebrations would include some of his relatives and close friends but would be a restricted affair as doctors had said he should be protected from any kind of infection.
From Lata Mangeshkar and Amitabh Bachchan to younger talents like Farhan Akhtar and Riteish Deshmukh, celebrities from the film world wished Dilip Kumar good health and a long life on his 95th birthday.
