Dilip Kumar to be discharged at 4pm today

Here’s some happy news for all the fans of actor Dilip Kumar. The legendary actor will be discharged today, 9 August, from Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, where he has been admitted since last week. 

The announcement was made on Dilip Kumar’s official Twitter page by Faisal Farooqui, owner and founder of MouthShut.com. He has been tweeting on behalf of the actor. The tweet read, “Saab will be discharged from Lilavati Hospital at 4pm. This is one great news. I'm on my way to the hospital. -FF.” 

The news, obviously, brought tremendous joy to the vetaran actor’s huge fan following on Twitter, evident from the number of responses the post received. 

Dilip Kumar was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital last week on 3 August, due to dehydration. There were reports later in the week about the actor being put on ventilator. However, doctors from the hospital squashed all such reports and stated that he is responding well to treatment. 

The legendary actor has been looked after by his wife and yesteryear actress, Saira Banu.
