Pritam takes a break after Jab Harry Met Sejal

Music composer Pritam Chakraborty has posted a tweet saying that he will not sign any new project for sometime. He stated that he is exhausted after working on four successive films and is heading for a much needed break.

In the same post, the composer also said that he had decided on not taking up any new project until the completion of Jab Harry Met Sejal. Now that the film is released, Pritam wants to take a break before signing on anything new.

While there's no denying that Pritam has been overloaded, but in this message Pritam also appeared to be responding to the few critcism around the delay in Jagga Jasoos. 

"How I wish that the releases were spaced out but nonetheless, it's been a personally inspiring ride. Also learned new lessons in this jounrey," Pritam wrote in the post. 

While Jagga Jasoos and Jab Harry Met Sejal didn't enjoy a great box office success, Pritam's music in the two films has been widely appreciated. Earlier, the composer had scored for Raabta (2017) and Dangal (2016).
