Priyanka Chopra to release new single ‘Young and Free’ on 11 August

Besides acting and producing, Priyanka Chopra has also tried her hands on singing quite a few times. Now, she is all set to release her next single titled ‘Young & Free'. She made the announcement on her Instagram page along with a stunning picture, that looks like the song's cover. 

She wrote, “Something new, something different... yes, it’s my voice, but that’s not all... Stay tuned for the full story…. #YoungAndFree @will_sparks.” [sic] As per her caption, the song will be released on 11 August, the day when Akshay Kumar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha will also be hitting theatres. The track will be released on the online music platform Spotify. 

For this song, Priyanka has collaborated with Will Sparks, who is a well-known music composer and DJ from Australia. 

It is reported that the Baywatch actress has also penned the lyrics of the song. The line in her caption ‘but that’s not all’ also strongly indicates this. 

Last year, when Priyanka sang the Marathi song ‘Baba’ for her own production, Ventilator, she became the first actress to have sung in five languages. She had already lent her voice for Hindi, English, Punjabi and Tamil songs. 

Priyanka is said to have recorded ‘Young & Free’ few years back. Her fans have been waiting for it ever since.
