The first poster of Ananth Narayan Mahadevan’s Aksar 2, starring Zareen Khan and Gautam Rode, is out. The poster doesn’t give much of an idea about the film which looks like another bold thriller starring Khan. The poster has her looking seductive in minimal clothing while Rode appears in the background in a black suit, looking at her.
The film is the sequel to Ananth Mahadevan's 2005 film Aksar, which starred Emraan Hashmi, Udita Goswami and Dino Morea.
Rode is making a comeback on the big screen after eight years. His last film was Ram Gopal Varma’s Agyaat (2009), which didn’t do well at the box office. Previously, he has starred in U, Bomsi & Me (2005) and Annarth (2002).
The highlight of Aksar (2005) was Himesh Reshammiya’s music. The song ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja', sung by Reshammiya himself, became a rage. However, he won't be composing for Aksar 2, as composer Mithoon has been brought on board for the project.
