Saira Banu on Dilip Kumar’s health: Pray that he recovers soon

Veteran actress Saira Banu urged fans to pray for the better health of husband and legendary actor, Dilip Kumar. He was admitted in the ICU of a suburban hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday, 2 August. Kumar is said to have suffered from dehydration, which inturn affected his kidney.
While speaking to a news agancy, this morning, Banu said, “We have to pray he recovers soon. He should be well Inshallah! God willing. The doctors are treating him.”
A doctor at the hospital told Hindustan Times that the 94-year-old actor is stable: “His creatinine level has gone up, leading to urinary complications. But he is stable. He was brought to the hospital because of dehydration and kidney problems.”
Dr Ravishankar, the chief executive at the hospital, also stated the same and added that the only issue he was facing was dehydration. “He is completely stable and the only major issue was dehydration. As dehydration also affects the kidneys and other organs briefly, he suffered minor urinary issues, otherwise there are no major complications,” he said.
Kumar has been admitted quite a few times in recent years for various medical complications.
The thespian has worked in over 60 films throughout his career. His last film Qila had released in 1998.
