Kapil Sharma's recent panic attack led to the cancellation of an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show with the entire cast of Baadshaho. This led to reports that Ajay Devgn, and the rest of the cast, were miffed with the unprofessional behaviour of Sharma. However, the actor has now spoken up that there is 'no anger' between him and Sharma over the incident.
Speaking to the daily, Indian Express, Devgn said, "We walked out because Kapil didn’t reach the sets. Even we don’t know what happened but the reports that we stormed out in anger are completely wrong. I can’t say if I will go back on the show since many a times the shoot has been cancelled. There is no anger here because we have also heard that he has been unwell."
The actor also said that he will speak to Sharma once he is well enough. Devgn said, "The next time I meet him, we will figure it out as at the end of the day, we are colleagues and friends here."
Speaking to Cinestaan.com, a source from the network said that it was Sharma's panic attack that was the main cause. He said, "The Baadshaho team had arrived on the set on 26 August. Kapil Sharma had woken up with a panic attack. He had informed the team accordingly. None of the cast members from Baadshaho stormed (out) as it it’s being reported."
Sharma had to call off the promotional episode with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma during the releases of Imtiaz Ali's Jab Harry Met Sejal as well. Similar epsiodes during the promotion of Akshay Kumar-starrer, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, and Arjun Kapoor-Anil Kapoor's Mubarakan were also postponed.
