Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath to begin shooting on 3 September

Abhishek Kapoor’s next, Kedarnath, will begin shooting on 3 September. The film is being produced by Gulshan Kumar, KriArj Entertainment, Abhishek's production house Guy In The Sky Pictures, in association with Balaji Motion Pictures.
The film, which will be the big screen debut of Sara Ali Khan, daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, is a love story set in the holy temple town of Kedarnath.
The producers of the film announced the film’s shooting date in a press release and expected release date — the summer of 2018. They also revealed a little bit about the film’s storyline.
Producer Bhushan Kumar said in the statement, “Kedarnath, is my second film with KriArj Entertainment. It's really a privilege to partner with them and Kedarnath is a very prestigious film. It's a love story set in the land of Shiva, of whom, I am a strong believer. My devotion towards Lord Shiva is utmost and this further makes this film very special."
Balaji Motion Pictures’ Ekta Kapoor said, “The film is an emotional and riveting story set in India's heartland, where raw romance unfolds amidst the beauty of Kedarnath. Moreover, the solid collaboration backing the film further adds to the excitement."
The motion poster of Kedarnath was recently released and focused in on a trishul along with a tagline, 'Love is a pilgrimage'.
