The new series will look at a woman's perception of the various social issues in India and how she deals with it. The theme of the cartoons will be women's empowerment and agency in social, political and economic speheres.
Speaking about it, Taapsee said, "It was an honour to be a part of this historic launch. I was overwhelmed to know how the entire family of RK Lakshman sir felt it was apt to launch this new character by me. A very wonderful gathering amongst dignitaries and a memorable occasion to remember that people are associating me with the voice of a common woman. Rimanika had wonderful ideas about what ideologies will the common woman stand for. I can't wait to see her grow in this field and looking forward to seeing the common woman around more often."
