Actress, producer, multi-tasker Priyanka Chopra is spending the beginning of her 15-day mini-break back home in Mumbai battling the effects of jet lag. The Quantico actress came back to India last week and will reportedly sign her next Indian project. It was rumoured that the lead actor for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gustakhiyan, based on the life of writers Sahir Ludhianvi and Amrita Pritam was supposed to be finalised.
No word has emerged on that front but we’ve seen a lot of Chopra as she tries to adjust to her new more laid back schedule in these two weeks. She tweeted, “Is it ok to just be home finally and just watch tv and procrastinate while I jetlag for a day before I dive into work...? #GuiltyPleasure”

A day later, she posted a picture of her view while sleeping and wrote, “So when sleep evades me and thoughts engulf my mind. I wonder is it jet lag or just memories on overdrive. hmm #latenightmusings”

Besides choosing her next film, Chopra is also looking into the final details of Pahuna, the Sikkimese film being produced under her banner, Purple Pepple Pictures. Chopra will also complete her assignments for the brands she’s endorsing and might even pose for a magazine or two.
Chopra attended producer Ritesh Sidwani's 44th birthday bash on 21 August and partied with her Bajirao Mastani co-stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Yesterday, she stopped by director Siddharth Anand's party where her ex-boyfriend Harman Baweja was also present.
Just today, she posted a photograph on Instagram with the caption, “When u wake up way before you are supposed to! #upallnightsleepallday #grr#jetlaggedtothemax”
Chopra recently signed on to executive produce an American television series based on actress Madhuri Dixit’s life in the US after her marriage to Dr Srirram Nene. Before going back to shoot season three of her US television show Quantico, Chopra will be the guest of honour at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) to support female filmmakers on 6 September.
