Kamal Haasan takes veiled potshot at merger of AIADMK factions

Actor Kamal Haasan has taken a veiled potshot at the ruling All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK).

Although the star did not mention the party by name, it was obvious that his latest tweet was the result of his thoughts on the meger of the two factions of the party which is ruling the state.

Kamal Haasan tweeted in Tamil, "Gandhi Kulla! Kaavi Kulla! Kashmir Kulla!! Tharpodhu Komazhikulla, Tamizhan Thalaiyil, Podhuma Innum Venduma?  Thayavai Veguzhvai Tamizha."

Translated, it means, "Gandhi hat, Saffron hat, Kashmir hat! Now, a buffoon hat on the heads of Tamils. Enough or do you want more? Kindly arise, Tamizha."

In Tamil, foisiting a kulla, or hat, on one's head means to con one. It is no secret that the AIADMK government and the actor have been trading charges in the recent past.
