Milan Luthria’s next Baadshaho, starring Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal and Ileana D’Cruz, is based on a heist, and promises quite a few high octane action sequences. The trailer of the film shows Devgn, and five other members of his gang, working towards robbing an armored truck filled with gold.

The actor is known for doing his own stunt scenes, without the use of a body double. His last film Shivaay (2016) too had a few impressive and sophisticated stunt scenes. However, since Baadshaho is a period action drama, it's stunts are going to be rather raw.  Devgn was almost injured while shooting a scene for the film. The particular action scene was choreographed by German stunt director Ramazan Bulut, where Devgn had to go below the armored truck.

According to a report from the Baadshaho set, Devgn had to drag his feet on the ground, moving towards the front of the truck, where the camera was fixed. The truck, similar to the ones used in the 1970s, was a bit lower than usual, therefore, the space between the truck and the ground was considerably less. The truck also had a jagged rotating edge on the differential.

The actor started getting claustrophobic during the shoot but was intent on getting the shot right. Director Milan Luthria noticed Devgn's discomfort and immediately asked to stop the shooting.

When the truck stopped, the harness crew went ahead to pull Devgn out. A part of Devgn’s costume, from his leather jacket was stuck on the undercarriage. This heightened Devgn’s claustrophobia and he asked the crew to free him quickly. It took them a few minutes to get him out. No serious injures were reported.

Baadshaho is set to be released on 1 September.
