The actor is training in neutral buoyancy, spacewalk drills, moon walks, as well as experiencing zero gravity simulations for the film.

Sushant Singh Rajput is on quite the trip. The actor is currently training at the Kennedy Space Centre with NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) for his upcoming film Chanda Mama Door Ke.
A picture was put up by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Twitter, saying, 'Sushant Singh Rajput to undergo special training at NASA’s Space & Rocket Center... Enacts the part of an astronaut in #ChandaMamaDoorKe.

The picture has Rajput, dressed in a space suit, dangling in mid-air. While the space suit looks quite snazzy, the actor looks a bit jet-lagged and tired. It is not known whether the look is in keeping with the struggles of an astronaut.
The film, directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan, will see Rajput play an astronaut. The actor left for the United States in July and has been training hard to get his wings at the academy.
Early in July, Space Camp USA had put up an image welcoming the actor to the mission camp. 'We were honored to have @itsSSR join us last week for a camp mission!' they wrote.

Singh has been preparing at the camp for his role, and his Instagram is proof of that. In an image, he can be seen posing in front of a G-force training equipment, which prepares astronauts for the severe impact of gravity while take-off, and the lack of it in space.
Another picture shows the actor sitting by the window of the camp, with a miniature rocket in hand.
Speaking to a website, al.com, Rajput said of the preparations, "Their training is something else, much deeper. They are trained to be put in a situation where you’re facing problems for the first time. So, with all your experience, with all your skills, with all your way of concentrating and not being anxious – it’s not a question of pass or fail, it’s a question of life or death."
The actor is reportedly training in neutral buoyancy, spacewalk drills, moon walks, as well as experiencing zero gravity simulations for the film.
Chanda Mama Door Ke also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and R Madhavan in pivotal roles.
