Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar get their Veere Di Wedding looks ready

The long-awaited film Veere Di Wedding, about four friends bonding at a wedding, is finally taking shape. Actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhaskar were seen experimenting with their looks for the film, to be directed by Shashanka Ghosh.

Producers Balaji Motion Pictures shared the first photographs of their look tests on the official Instagram page with the caption, “Veeres in the house! Let's get this party started. #VeereDiWedding #looktests #kareenakapoorkhan #SonamKapoor #SwaraBhaskar #ShikhaTalsania”
 

Veere Di Wedding is produced by Rhea Kapoor and also features Rhea’s sister Sonam along with Shikha Talsania and Sumeet Vyas. Kareena was spotted with Rhea as they tried out different looks for her character in a Mumbai salon. Her character is aiming for an effortless style as Kareena wore an off-white tank top with her hair loose.

The project was delayed from 2016 to accommodate Kareena’s pregnancy (she gave birth to son Taimur in late December 2016). Now that she is back in shape, the film seems back to track to begin shooting for a release next year.

Swara Bhaskar was also present for the look test and her character seems to prefer a simple, casual style as she was clicked in a black t-shirt and a denim jacket.

The outfits for the two are likely styled by Rhea herself. Bhaskar wore the outfit to a special screening of Partition: 1947 (2017) and thanked Rhea for her look.
