It is not often that Rani Mukerji is snapped at a party, but her recent picture at Sridevi's birthday party might be one for the ages. The actress sat down for a picture with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rekha, Sridevi, Vidya Balan and Shabana Azmi for company.
Hosted by designer Manish Malhotra, the party also saw Tina Ambani and director Karan Johar in attendance. It was Malhotra who put up the picture on his social media feed, writing, 'At home @karanjohar and me with all these fabulous women . A night to remember.” Johar wrote, “Thank you @ManishMalhotra for a lovely evening and the opportunity to stand with these iconic ladies....'

The picture has acquired some buzz on the internet for the rarity of the actresses present. Mukerji, averse to being clicked at public events, manages to make a rare appearance in the picture. The image also puts an end to the rumours of Mukerji having a cold war with Aishwarya, since the days she replaced her in Shah Rukh Khan's Chalte Chalte (2007).
