Confirmed! Saif Ali Khan to star in Go Goa Gone sequel

Director duo Raj-DK revealed that the main cast of the film will be retained, including Saif Ali Khan.

The climax of director duo Raj-DK’s Go Goa Gone (2013) gave an obvious hint about the sequel. Earlier this year, Saif Ali Khan, who played one of the leads in the film, had informed that talks about the sequel were on. But he also added, “It’s premature to say anything.”

It has been confirmed now that the sequel will be made and Khan will indeed be a part of it. The news was shared by Raj and DK themselves during an interview for their upcoming film, A Gentleman.

“We would love to do the sequel. We are working on it. We have the first draft of the script ready. We are still working out the logistics though. A lot of company is involved,” said Raj.

Talking about the cast, he said, “We will retain the same cast and we have to now talk to a couple of people if we can add them also in the film. Right now, we have written a couple of new characters. We will start talking to actors and see who is interested in doing a crazy film with us.”

When specifically asked if Khan will be a part of the film, he answered in the affirmative: “Saif is on. Saif is a part. He is a co-producer and a fundamental part of the film.”

After A Gentleman, Raj-DK will be making a web series. This might be followed by Go Goa Gone sequel. “We are figuring out the dates and actors and which will happen first,” said Raj.

Go Goa Gone also starred Vir Das, Kunal Khemu and Puja Gupta.
