Wishing David Dhawan on his birthday, Anup Jalota posts old photograph

There’s no record of Anup Jalota having collaborated with David Dhawan for a film, but the singer, known for his devotional songs, sure has respect for the seasoned filmmaker.  Dhawan, who turned 62 today (16 August), was greeted by Jalota, who pulled out an old photograph.

The picture has a young Twinkle Khanna, with father Rajesh Khanna to her left, and a young David Dhawan in the centre, who is almost unrecognisable. One doesn’t know the occasion the picture was taken for.

Calling him the 'King of comedy', Jalota recalled how Dhawan emerged from being an aspiring actor to become an editor and finally a top director. 

David Dhawan is currently gearing up for his next, Judwaa 2, that has his son Varun Dhawan in the lead.
