Bose teaser: Rajkummar's transformation continues with Ekta Kapoor's web series

The latest teaser, put out by the makers of Rajkummar Rao's latest web-series on Subhash Chandra Bose, depict the intensity, and elegance of Rao's characterisation of Bose.

The teaser begins with a stylish Subhash Chandra Bose lighting up a cigarette as he emerges from the darkness. The series, titled Bose: Dead/Alive, is produced by Ekta Kapoor's Alt Balaji and directed by Rao's mentor, Hansal Mehta.

Kapoor released the second teaser today on her Twitter handle writing, "OK HERE IT IS ! The FIRSTLOOK OF... @rajkummar_rao AS...The man... the mystery ...the LEGEND! BOSE

The first teaser, released yesterday, shows Bose, with his back turned to the audience, vanishing into a decayed old corridor. This teasing portrayal only increases the mystery behind the character's possible survival after the helicopter crash.

The web-series has already gathered some buzz for Rao's transformation. The actor reportedly put on 10 kgs for this role, and even shaved off his hair. The effort shows as the actor's intensity and characterization stand out in the teasers.

The official trailer of the series is expected to be out on 18 August, which marks the 72nd death anniversary of Subhash Chandra Bose.
