Actors like Aamir Khan, are known for taking multiple retakes until the shot is perfect. This though isn’t a luxury enjoed by all. Varun Dhawan has revealed  that directors Shashank Khaitan and his father David Dhawan are not fans of retakes.

The actor appeared on Neha Dhupia’s audio chat show #NoFilterNeha where he expressed his frustration at not being able to do more retakes to get the shot right. The senior Dhawan is directing his son in the upcoming film Judwaa 2.  Khaitan has directed him in Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2016) and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014).

Dhupia nudged Dhawan ro reveal about the '4 take' Dhawan story.

“I like to give retakes to get the shot right. I’m someone who doesn’t mind four retakes. Shashank Khaitan, though, would only take two. He’s a Buddhist and a calm guy. I would tell him let me take couple of more retakes but he’d say that he’s got what he wanted. With my dad, he’s just give me a half retake. It’s not easy to shoot (with) him. He’s keep shouting at me, telling that two takes not allowed. Everyone on the sets would then call me ‘One more Dhawan’,” said the Judwaa 2 actor.

Judwaa 2 is set to to be released on 29 September.
