Indian fans will be bracing themselves to welcome Priyanka Chopra back home. The actress has wrapped up the shoot of her international TV show Quantico's season 2 and will be heading to Mumbai in about 10 days. The Quantico star usually updates her fans on such developments through social media. However, Chopra’s Twitter handle has been flooded with congratulatory messages following her Marathi film Ventilator bagging three honours (best director, best sound and editing) at the 64th National Awards.

From the pictures it looks like Chopra got quite emotional on the last day of the shoot even as she took part in the wrap up party.

Yasmine Al Massri, Chopra’s friend and colleague from Quantico, tweeted about the last day of the shoot.

The actress popped open a bottle of champaign to kick off the party.

Meanwhile, few production members shared pictures of the wrap up party with Chopra, which was held at the Silvercup Studios in New York, where the second season was being shot.

Writer of the show, Jordon Nardino was happy that Chopra held her tears back while clicking this selfie.

Chopra has been away from the country for the most part of the year having begun the shoot of Quantico 2 in July 2016. The second season had commenced on 25 September last year. Quantico has been a landmark show in Chopra's career as it kickstarted her journey towards huge international fame.

There is a question mark on the renewal of the show though as the ratings haven't been up to the mark for large part of second season.

Apart from Qunatico 2, Chopra also shot for her maiden Hollywood flick Baywatch last year. The actress plays the role of the antagonist in the Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron starrer R-rated comedy.

Baywatch sees a slight change in its schedule with the producers advancing its release date by a day. The film will now be released on 25 May in the US. Chopra will soon kick off worldwide promotions for the film.
