She didn’t bag a trophy, but Sonam Kapoor received a special jury mention at the 64th National awards for her role in Neerja (2016). Kapoor lost out to Alia Bhatt at the Filmfare awards. But the special mention at the National awards is no mean feat. While fans and family have been sending their best wishes, Kapoor’s rumoured boyfriend, Anand Ahuja, had special words in praise of the actress.
Ahuja, a Delhi businessman, took to his Instagram account to post the message for Kapoor.
Citing Pablo Picasso, Ahuja went on to call her the purest exemplification of selflessness.
The Neerja actress has kept her friendship with Ahuja private, but the duo is increasingly putting up their pictures together on social media. Kapoor and Ahuja celebrated new year’s eve in New York. A few months later, Ahuja touched down in London to celebrate Sonam Kapoor’s mother Sunita’s birthday with the entire family.
