My husband is happy I can unleash my anger elsewhere, says Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan is a jovial woman who speaks from her heart. This quality makes her popular with her fans and the media. The Begum Jaan actress had a Twitter chat with fans where she made some funny remarks. 

One fan asked Vidya about how her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur reacted to the promos of Begum Jaan and if he is a bit scared of her now. Her reply was surprising.

“He’s actually happy as I've got the chance to unleash my anger elsewhere and not with him. He’s relieved more than anything else. He likes the promos. He has no choice and neither does anyone of you.”

Vidya took her humour one notch higher, when she replied to a question about who she looks up to the most.

“I look up to Amitabh Bachchan, he's so much taller than me,” said the actress who has worked with Bachchan in Te3N (2016) and Paa (2009).

Meanwhile, Vidya threw a surprise when she revealed that seasoned artiste Ila Arun was the naughtiest person on the sets. 

“Undoubtedly Ila ji. She used to dress mostly in white. She is a colourful person so she used to keep cribbing (about her looks),” said Vidya. The actress also added how Arun would suddenly break into songs like rapper Badshah's ‘DJ Wale Babu’.

Some of these questions came from Vidya's colleagues like Fllora Saini, Ridheema Tiwari and Misthi. Director Srijit Mukherji, too, asked a cheeky question as to whether there was any point in the shooting of the film when she felt like throttling the director.

Vidya giggled at the question, before adding, “No, never. I admire the way you drew us mad in a nice way." Vidya also stated in another chat how professional and organised Mukherji was and hence they managed to complete the shoot in 32 days.

Begum Jaan is to be released on 14 April.
