Meri Pyaari Bindu Chapter 2 trailer: Parineeti Chopra steals the show with antics

The Chapter 2 trailer of Meri Pyaari Bindu delves into the mischievous and sometimes bullying nature of Bindu's madness.

Akshay Roy's Meri Pyaari Bindu is turning out to be quite the fun ride. The film's second trailer, titled Chapter 2 is just as fun as the first one. While Chapter 1 focussed on the childhood of the lead characters, the latest trailer focuses on their college years.

In keeping with the fun element of Bindu's personality, the trailer begins with the introduction of their characters' relationship as something similar to Gabbar and Sambha from Sholay.

Meri Pyaari Bindu is not a love story, says Ayushmann Khurrana

Set in their college years, the trailer shows Bindu as the more dominating, mischievous and adventurous personality, while Abhimanyu (Ayushmann Khurrana) plays the good, studious boy. Even as Abhi works on his answer paper feverishly, Bindu develops a 'jugaad' business strategy by selling his answers to the rest of the students in class. She even manages to get past her professor's strict monitoring with her crazy antics. The last time Chopra stole the show with her antics was in Hasee to Phasee (2014).

Chopra steals the trailer with her antics, and promises to be the fun element of the film. The trailer also continues the legacy of lovely classic songs, with the RD Burman disco classic, 'Duniya Mein Logo Ko' from Apna Desh (1972) becoming the latest addition to the soundtrack. It adds to the pumped up masti of the trailer. The trailer also drops some scenes of the two recording for a film, possibly hinting at their careers.

Meri Pyaari Bindu is directed by Roy, and produced by Yash Raj Films and Maneesh Sharma. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 12 May.
