Twinkle Khanna's career as a lead heroine might not have been a blast, but the actress is enjoying her career off screen with elan. Khanna recently featured in a commercial for the global internet giant, Google, endorsing their new Google Pixel phone. Needless to say, she already had a fan at home — Akshay Kumar.
Kumar took to the internet to endorse his wife's new commercial saying 'This is what happens when Google googles your wife'.

Sharp as ever, Khanna replied thanking her husband for being the 'handsomest cheerleader a girl could have'. But it would have been too sedate if Khanna didn't pun one along the way. The actress did a return endorsement of her husband's ad campaign saying 'my pom poms are 'Eveready' for you too'. Lest people forget, Kumar is the brand ambassador for the Eveready brand.
Thank you for being the handsomest cheerleader a girl could have on her team and my pom poms are 'Eveready' for you too #MumbaiToMaheshwar https://t.co/Z6tXz49FaW

Kumar was not the only one who endorsed Khanna's rise as brand ambassador. Director Karan Johar, a close friend of the actress, had tweeted earlier in the day saying 'So...@mrsfunnybones you nail it with your words and now your excelling in front of the camera....you go girl!!!!'

Khanna had replied saying Johar should think about casting her in the next sequel for My Name is Khan, by retitling it 'My Name is Khanna'.
Hmm..Since you are so impressed can I suggest a sequel to My Name is Khan -add 2 alphabets call it My Name is Khanna and cast me :) https://t.co/o4EDFv6CBk

To which Johar replied that since she rejected his 'first ever offer', this would be unlikely. Johar had reportedly asked Khanna to essay the role played by Rani Mukerji in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998). However, the actress rejected the offer.
Khanna has also launched her production company, MrsFunnyBones Movies, with the Kumar-starrer, Padman. The film is scheduled for theatrical release later this year.
