Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra-starrer Meri Pyaari Bindu is getting the audience more and more curious. The first trailer of the film is out and is a nostalgic treat. Keeping in line with the teaser of the film, which was a throwback to the mixtape era of love, Chapter one of the film's trailer dives into the 1980s.

The trailer begins, as the teaser with Abhimanyu Roy (Ayushmann Khurrana's character) narrating his first meeting with his childhood sweetheart, Bindu. The trailer is tinged with the nostalgia of a summer vacation, complete with the kheema samosa and chutney snack.

While the teaser had the heartbreaking romantic number 'Abhi Na Jaao Chhodkar' to enhance its appeal, the trailer adds another wonderful classic 'Aaiye meheMbaan' from Howrah Bridge (1958). The song fits in with the mischievous, flirty theme of the trailer with the two kids. With Walkman headphones, cassette tapes and samosas, the trailer is filled with nostalgia for the 1980s generation. By the looks of it, so will the film be.

In all, chapter one adds to the quirky, frothy romance of Meri Pyaari Bindu. The second chapter of the trailer is set to release on 4 April, tomorrow.

Meri Pyaari Bindu is directed by Akshay Roy and is scheduled for theatrical release on 12 May.
