While Priyanka Chopra is currently in India, promoting her Hollywood movie, Baywatch, the rest of the film's cast couldn't make it due to paucity of time. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is busy shooting a film right now, and couldn't make it to India to promote the film alongside Chopra. But he sent a special message for India and Chopra, which was played at the press event held on Wednesday in Mumbai.

In the video, the actor was all praise for his co-star Chopra, saying, "she is so good at being bad." Chopra plays the role of the villain, Victoria Leeds, a bombshell drug dealer, who goes up against the lifeguards, which include Dwayne, Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario, among others.

"I loved working with Priyanka. She was truly the best. I had a great time working with her. You talk about a girl who really kicks a** in a way that is believable and legit, it’s Priyanka. I had a blast working with her," said Dwayne.

While Johnson was planning to come to India along with Chopra for the film's promotions, his work on other projects like the series 'Ballers', and his next film, Rampage, presented a major hurdle. "Priyanka and I spoke about me coming to India for months. And I wish I could have joined her this time," he said.

Chopra has also confirmed that there will be no India premiere for the film. "We are only doing a Miami and one Berlin premiere and that’s it," she said.

Johnson though thanked his fans in India for always being supportive of his work. "Over the years, whether it was my WWE or movie career, you (Indians) have shown such incredible love and support to me. Thank you so much. I look forward to one day coming to your great country and saying hello and sharing my gratitude in person."

He signed off by saying that "every superhero needs an amazing villain and Priyanka is the one."

Going by the latest Baywatch trailer released couple of days back, we surely agree with him.

Yesterday, Dwayne also posted an article on his Twitter account, where he spoke about why Chopra was the perfect choice for the role of Leeds.

Baywatch will be released in India on 2 June, a week after its US release.
