Priyanka Chopra finally made the big reveal about her Hollywood debut on Wednesday. At a press conference organised for the movie's India promotion, the actress revealed that the film will release in Indian theatres on 2 June via a new poster. Baywatch is the movie version of the cult American television series, and stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandria Daddario, alongside Chopra. Chopra plays the villainous tycoon, Victoria Leeds in the film.

The film, directed by Seth Gordon, is set to release in theatres in the United States on 25 May. The film will clash with another major franchise, Pirates of the Carribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which hits the theatres on 26 May. However, this situtation has been averted in India with its release. Chopra's film will now clash with Rajkummar Rao-Shruti Haasan starrer Behen Hogi Teri. However, from the looks of it, Baywatch does have the advantage.
The makers of the film also revealed a new poster that included the updated release date. The poster stars Chopra front and centre, in the middle of the two other major stars of the film, Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. This positioning is a clear indication that the makers of the film are planning to promote it around the bigger star on these shores, Chopra. The actress also gets third billing for the film.
