Work on director Mohan Raja's upcoming film with Sivakarthikeyan, Nayanthara and Fahadh Faasil, titled Velaikkaran, seems to be progressing at a brisk pace.
The unit has now headed to Malaysia to shoot a schedule, which director Raja has described as challenging. The director took to Twitter to keep fans posted about the film's progress.
On his Twitter account, Raja wrote, 'Taking off to Malaysia now for a challenging schedule. Cherishing the process of creating a new attempt with a great team.'
The film, which is scheduled for release on 29 September in time for the 'Saraswati pooja' holidays, has triggered huge interest as it marks the first time that both Raja and Sivakarthikeyan are coming together for a project.
Sources close to the unit of the film say that this schedule required preparations for almost six months. A huge team has flown out to Malaysia to specifically film this portion.
Around 75 members are part of the team that has flown to Malaysia and are scheduled to stay there for a period of 23 days.
Earlier, director Raja, while commenting on the film, had said, "I believe in a single man's ethics. I don't like to blame anybody or anything. My last film Thani Oruvan (2015) revolved around a self-sufficient person, who thought about society. Now, this film will be about a guy who is in such a position that if he thinks about anything other than his work, then his next meal will go for a toss. Despite that, he thinks about society."
