The hue and cry over over actress Sonakshi Sinha performing at the upcoming Justin Bieber concert has ended with the actress issuing a statement that contrary to reports, she is not performing at the concert. The Noor actress, however, confirmed that the organisers had approached her to perform, but she didn’t take up the offer.
Sinha issued a statement via Twitter.

Making it clear that she isn’t performing at the Bieber concert, Sinha stated that the needless speculation arose because of various media reports. Bieber's The Purpose World Tour is slated to take place on 10 May at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
The actress had a message for all her detractors who didn’t approve her singing at an international concert.
“I am an actor who loves music, who loves to perform and who loves to sing. And if anyone has a problem with that, in the wise words of baba Bieber himself... they can go 'love' themselves. Over and out,” said Sinha in her statement.
The controversy had erupted after singer Kailash Kher had questioned the move by promoters and event managers to have actors like Sinha perform at international concerts.
Singer-composer Armaan Malik had backed Kher’s views, which wasn’t appreciated by Sinha. The two had a war of words yesterday. A peeved Sinha had tweeted to Armaan saying that all talent should be encouraged and not suppressed. The young singer-composer then chose to douse the flames, reminding Sinha that he was merely speaking about the less importance given to singers vis-a-vis actors in Indian cinema.
I Agree with u sonakshi.. but I voiced what I felt about how singers are shunned in our country & given lesser importance than actors!! https://t.co/Gnwshe01GP

Sinha wasn’t amused. She tweeted:
And this is definitely not the same tune you were singing when you wanted me to sing for you ð¶ https://t.co/hJlm9U6Gk3

Armaan then replied to her saying she was confusing him for his composer brother Amaal Malik.
You are mistaking me for @AmaalMallik he is the composer :) https://t.co/7TpVl96EzR
