The dance drama directed by Sabbir Khan which was slated to release on 7 July, will now clash with Bareilly Ki Barfi on 21 July.

In a surprise move, the makers of Munna Michael have shifted the release date from 7 July to 21 July. Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming is slated for release on 7 July.
The move by makers of Munna Michael could be an effort to avoid the big clash as superhero films command a favourable following in India.
The following week (14 July) will see three films — Jagga Jasoos, Chef and Haseena — lock horns. While the exact reason is not known, the shift in the release date of Munna Michael could also have to do with the fear of getting a limited run with three big releases lined up the following week.
Producers Eros Now made the annoucement via Twitter:
3 months to go! #MunnaMichael to release on 21st July 2017 @NextGenFilm @iTIGERSHROFF @AgerwalNidhhi @vikirajani @sabbir24x7 @Nawazuddin_S pic.twitter.com/R0VbmM9cSP

Munna Michael will now face competition from Bareilly Ki Barfi that has Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. Both films are set to be released on 21 July.
Ranbir Kapoor’s long due Jagga Jasoos will clash with Shraddha Kapoor’s Haseena and Saif Ali Khan’s Chef. Come 21 July, it will be a tough race to get a fair number of screens for both Munna Michael and Bareilly Ki Barfi, especially if the preceding week's releases enjoy a good run.
Directed by Sabbir Khan, Munna Michael is a dance drama with Tiger Shroff playing the lead and Nawazuddin Siddiqui said to be playing Shroff’s mentor. The film marks the debut of Bangalore-based model Nidhhi Agerwal.
