Shah Rukh Khan calls Sachin Tendulkar guiding light of his life

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar is a private man, but with his biographical film just around the corner, he seems to be getting active on social media to promote it.

The trailer of Sachin A Billion Dreams was launched a week ago. When Shah Rukh Khan finally watched the trailer, he shared his thoughts about the former Indian cricket star on Twitter.

Khan referred to Tendulkar as the 'guiding light' of his life and like his million admirers, King Khan, too, misses the Master Blaster on the cricket field.

The former Indian cricketer holds the record for most numbers of runs in Test and One-Day Internationals. Tendulkar also played a pivotal role in India’s World Cup triumph in 2011.

Touched by Khan's words, Tendulkar returned the favour with a few pearls of wisdom.

In his 24-year career, Tendulkar has seen many ups and downs. Tendulkar and Khan have been friends and even did a television commercial together.

Sachin A Billion Dreams is set to be released on 26 May.
