Tubelight poster: An innocent Salman ka salaam in Kabir Khan's next

The makers of Tubelight released the first poster of the movie yesterday (19 April). It turned out to be a tease for Salman Khan’s fans as only his back was seen in it. Now, the makers have released a new poster where Salman is seen doing a salaam (salute). The poster was tweeted by director Kabir Khan and Salman on Twitter. 

It shows Salman with a childlike expression, saluting someone. The blue checkered shirt and brown sweater add to the innocence of his character. His long boots are seen hanging round his neck.

There have been reports earlier that Salman plays a character with special needs in the film. This poster seems to confirm the reports.

Tubelight is set against the backdrop of the Indo-China war, which is highlighted at the bottom of the poster with an intense war sequence .

The film sees Salman falling in love with a Chinese girl. Chinese actress Zhu Zhu will be playing the character. Tubelight also stars Om Puri, who passed away earlier this year. 

Salman has produced the film along with director Kabir. It is all set to release during the Eid season on 25 June. The actor will be continuing his long stint of releasing his films on the festival. The film will clash with Sunny Deol’s Bhaiyyaji Superhit.
