Raabta first poster: Sushant Singh Rajput-Kriti Sanon share a romantic moment

The first look poster of Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon’s Raabta is out. It features the two actors and there is romance written all over it. 

Going by the poster and the title, the film looks like a romantic tale. The words ‘Everything is connected’ give an idea about the role fate plays in the lives of the two lovers. With someone like Homi Adajania being one of the producers, it seems the film won’t be a regular love story. 

There has been a lot of interest in the film ever since the title was finalised. This is because ‘Raabta’ is a hugely popular romantic number from Shriram Raghvan’s Agent Vinod (2012) featuring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. 

Another reason for the buzz around the film is the fact that this is Rajput's first film after the career defining M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), the biopic on India’s cricket star Mahendra Singh Dhoni directed by Neeraj Pandey. 

Sanon will be returning to the screen after quite some time. Her last release was Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale (2015). 

Raabta is the directorial debut for Dinesh Vijan. He is also the co-producer of the film. As a producer, he has brought out successful films like Being Cyrus (2005), Love Aaj Kal (2009), Cocktail (2012), Go Goa Gone (2013), Finding Fanny (2014) and Badlapur (2015). 

Raabta will be released on 9 June.
