Rock On 2 teaser lives up to the expectations — Watch video

Let's face it. Sequels have been coming in heaps and bounds in Hindi cinema since a decade, but barring a few, none of them have actually matched up to their first film. But the teaser of Rock On 2, which is just released, gives a glimmer of hope of being an exception.

Unlike other teasers, this one is much longer. Its length of 1 minute 28 seconds almost makes it appear like a trailer. As expected, the film is again based on music and revolves around a group of friends. The teaser promises some high quality music yet again. And like the first film, it also seems to be high on emotional drama. It also gives a feeling as if it would be more dramatic than the first film. 

Rock On 2 is the sequel to the 2008 hit Rock On!!. While the first film was directed by Abhishek Kapoor, this one is helmed by Shujaat Saudagar. It carries forward the cast of Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Prachi Desai. Shraddha Kapoor and Shashanl Arora (of Titli fame) are the additions. The film is all set to release on 11 November 2016.
