The soundtrack of Dharma Productions' latest Baar Baar Dekho is turning out to be a pleasant surprise of the year. With a stunning hit like 'Kala Chashma' already dominating the radio waves, the makers have released yet another winner.
The studio released 'Dariya', the latest number from the film featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif. 'Dariya' is a breezy, romantic number, with a rustic twist sung by Arko. The singer was one of the key members of Karan Johar's previous production Kapoor & Sons.
This track provides some emotional depth to the album, and is a good mirror to the song 'Khair Mangdi'. The song focuses on the relationship between the lead pair, which survives the trippy time travelling misadventure in the film.
For a change, it is Malhotra who steals the show with his charming personality, while Kaif remains in the background.
Baar Baar Dekho is directed by Nitya Mehra, and is expected to release on 9 September.
