There is a wall between me and Ranbir: Rishi Kapoor

There is very little doubt that Rishi Kapoor is afraid of nobody. Except perhaps Neetu Kapoor. In the recently released teaser of a Rendezvous with Simi Garewal at the Melbourne International Film Festival, the actor couple answered questions that range from Rishi Kapoor's weight problems to who's the boss at home, and Ranbir Kapoor. 

The most shocking answer of all seems to be Rishi Kapoor's admission that there is a wall between him and his son. The actor says, "I think there is a wall between us. We can see each other, but we can't feel what the other is feeling." Ranbir has often admitted that he is intimidated by his father, and hopes to live up to his expectations. This admission by Rishi Kapoor makes us think there are some serious complications between father and son. 

Asked by Simi Garewal if the relationship can be repaired, Kapoor Sr said, "I don't know now if it is too late and we have grown too far apart..." Knowing Garewal and her ability to bring out some underlying emotions, this might be one interesting interview to watch out for. 

It was not all dark secrets though. Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor make up with some hilarity between them, reminding us why they are among the adored couples in Indian cinema.
